2014 SUMMER RAFTING SEASON

HELLO TRUCKEE RIVER RAFTERS!

It looks like our 2014 rafting season will probably open earlier this year...maybe for Memorial Day Holiday!  We'll keep you updated as the summer gets a bit closer.

We're also hiring "worker-bee's" too!  We have a table at the Squaw Valley Job Fair this afternoon, if anyone would like to stop by for some info about working with us this summer. The fair starts at 4:00 and ends at 7:00.  I know it's short notice...  you can also download an application from our website and send it to us.

2013 SEASON ALMOST OVER!

Our 2013 summer rafting season is coming to a close in just a few days. Water levels have been perfect all year running at 360cfs. The last couple days have been a bit smokey due to the Rim Fire and it looks like that will continue.

Come on down before we close. Our last day will be Monday, September 2.

PERFECT RAFTING WEATHER!

We're going to have some great rafting weather for the next few days!  Temps are going to jump up to the mid-80's with light breezes. Afternoon thunderstorms are typical, so my advice is to plan your rafting adventure a bit earlier in the day. Water levels are also perfect around 300cfs (not too high, not too low)!

JUNE 24, 2013 WEATHER UPDATE

Well... rain and wind for the next couple days and then temps will be back up in the upper 70's and 80's!  The water level is perfect at 330cfs.  Our staff is ready and waiting to get you rafting!!

OPENING DAY ON THE RIVER!

LIMITED RAFTING ON THE RIVER JUNE 1, 2013
We will be open Saturday...but will limit our rafters to 2 or 3 people per raft.  The water flows will be around 150cfs.  The watermaster's office in Reno started to release more water today (Friday) and will increase the flow everyday or every couple days.  We'll have great temps and a light breeze!

RIVER UPDATE MAY 29, 2013

NOW...IT'S ALMOST TIME!!!  We thought we could be open for Memorial Day, but cold weather and rain slowed things up a bit.  Fingers crossed, this Saturday could be "opening day".  Water flows increased to 120cfs up from 90cfs and 70cfs a few days ago.  As some of you know, we need about 180cfs to open.  So, maybe a couple days and we're there!
